Melissa McCarthy, Paul Feig and cast talk Ghostbusters!
When the first trailer for co-writer/director Paul Feig’s all-female reboot of Ghostbusters landed, fanboys freaked and the vitriol spilled from keyboards like projectile slime from a netherworld ghoul.

For him, it was all about making a very amusing movie.
“The movie is a comedy, an entertaining comedy, but it is also now a real important part of the social conversation and you don’t usually get to do both of those things”, he said.
Furthermore, William Bibbiani of Crave Online said that this new Ghostbusters movie is smart and exciting and is a solid new entry into the classic series.
Melissa McCarthy, Kristin Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones are the team who are out to save the world in the new flick. Co-stars McKinnon and Jones, playing the Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson roles, don’t make much of an impression either.
WHEN a book scientist Erin Gilbert (Kristen Wiig) co-authored years earlier about the existence of ghosts resurfaces, she is laughed out of her university job and the academic world. The announcement of a Ghostbusters revamp was met with much trepidation. Considering the abundance of vitriol being spewed at the filmmakers and actors by people who hadn’t actually seen the film, it simply isn’t fair.
Katie Dippold, who wrote the screenplay for the new all-female “Ghostbusters”, says of the trolls, “I wish they could see that it all came from a good place”. Bad reviews would have killed its chances.

She’s previously filmed pun-filled forecasts based on Starwars, Batman v Superman and even Back To The Future – and now Channel 5 weather reporter Sian Welby is at it again, only this time her report has been given a Ghostbusters makeover. We’re all hoping that this one turns out to be another one of those.
