Memorial for Prince held at his Jehovah’s Witnesses church
The Kingdom Hall did not respond to a request for comment.

Three weeks after his death, a private memorial service took place Sunday for Prince at the place where he worshiped.
But his sister, Tyka Nelson, said Friday that she did not consider that “intimate gathering” to have been his funeral and that the family was still planning a public event. In 1996, he began to study the Bible and enjoy warm friendship with Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Streets were blocked off in a Minneapolis suburb for a Prince memorial on Sunday afternoon, but the singer’s remains were not there, nor was his closest surviving relative. The world-famous musician, who died April 21 at his Paisley Park home and studio in Chanhassen, was a longtime member of the church.
She also confirmed that police were told to prepare for up to 50 “high-profile guests”, the Star Tribune says.
The private memorial service was closed to reporters, who were told that the meeting hall was filled almost to capacity, thought to be about 500 people.
In the memorial’s programme obtained by local news station Fox 9, it lists Graham under an “interview”, in between prayers and tribute songs.
It read: “If I were to ever write down my life story, I could truly say with all the fame and glory, I was just a piece of clay in need of the potter’s hand”. But to a select and private few, he was known as “Brother Prince”.
Prince was found dead at age 57 in his Paisley Park recording complex last month. Authorities are still investigating.
Prince’s two ex-wives held a private service in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
