Men Apocalypse First Look: Psylocke, Magneto, and More

If there’s one complaint people have had about the X-Men film franchise (excluding the general existence of The Last Stand), it’s that we’ve never seen the team in costumes that really reflected their comic roots. Today we finally get a peek at this fearsome villain, plus Psylocke (Olivia Munn), Magneto (Michael Fassbender), and many more. How do you like the look of your upgraded Magneto, or throwback look of Psylocke?

Every X-Men fan knows just how big of a deal Apocalypse is, and he’s just the beginning.

Said to be the conclusion of a trilogy started with X-Men: First Class and continued with X-Men: Days of Future Past, the Bryan Singer directed X-Men: Apocalypse is set for release on May 27, 2016.

Familiar faces and a few new ones, too.

Isaac continued to dish about his character, saying, “He’s believed to be the first mutant, whatever that means”.

For those “assistants”, he recruits a teenage Storm (Alexandra Shipp), who’s living on the streets in Cairo, Angel (Ben Hardy), who’s an amateur fighter in Berlin, and Psylocke, who’s working behind the Iron Curtain for Caliban.

To aid in that quest, Apocalypse recruits special help including Magneto, who’s peacefully living out his days in Poland.

X-Men: Apocalypse cast also includes Evan Peters (Quicksilver), Lucas Till (Havok), Lana Condor (Jubilee), Kodi Smit-McPhee (Nightcrawler), Tye Sheridan (Cyclops), Sophie Turner (Jean Grey), Nicholas Hoult (Beast), James McAvoy (Professor X), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique) and a rumored appearance by Hugh Jackman.

Meanwhile, Fassbender opened up to the publication about what’s in store with his role, saying, “he’s fallen in love and he’s basically left his metal ways behind”. When his peaceful world is shattered, however, Apocalypse shows up and taps him for his final Horseman.
