Mercedes AMG GT S to launch on November 24 in India
Mercedes-Benz has been on a product onslaught in India this year. The company announced that it will launch 15 new models this year and it has already launched 13 products so far. The flagship Mercedes-AMG GT sportscar which is scheduled to be launched on November 24 will be the 14th vehicle.

The GT S comes with 9 x 19 inch alloys at the front shod with 265/35 R 19 section tyres and 11 x 20 inch alloys at the rear shod with 295/30 R 20 section tyres.
The Mercedes-AMG GT is a 2-door, 2-seater grand grand coupe that was presented in September past year and unveiled to the public at the Paris Motor Show the following month.
That is good enough to propel the vehicle from nought to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, and on to a top speed of 304 km/h, given enough room.

The overall profile of the AMG GT S is largely identical to the SLS AMG, but it lacks the gulluwing doors. Like the dry sump lubrication system that makes engine sit lower in the bay and thereby lowering the center of gravity, the turbochargers are placed between the two heads so as to make power delivery instantaneous, the dual clutch gearbox is situated over the rear axle so as to keep the weight evenly distributed. The auto returns 10.52 kms to a litre of fuel. The Indian market will get the more-powerful GT S variant, which produces 503 bhp. It will compete against the Porsche 911, Audi R8, Jaguar F-type Coupe and the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
