Coming to its powertrain, the new 2016 Mercedes-Benz A-Class will come with the same 1.6-liter petrol and a 2.2-liter diesel engine, paired to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, but it may benefit from improved fuel efficiency and lower Carbon dioxide emissions. This will be the third model of the 4 C-class body styles from Mercedes.
After months of rumours and various spy pics, the C-Class Coupe was unveiled featuring a design that’s both serious and sporty. The cabin is well designed with the dash lifted from the C 63 saloon. It was entirely developed at Affalterbach, AMG’s home base, just like the AMG RIDE CONTROL system with electronically controlled dampers and the rear axle’s limited-slip differential. The looks of this sports luxury coupe will be similar to the S-class from Benz but will be a sleek and affordable version.
What Mercedes has done with the new C-class is impressive.
In addition to the above, the company also brings brand new 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels coated in matt Himalaya grey for the S-Class Cabriolet.
Oh, but it gets better.
The S model will only need 3.9 seconds to go from 0-62mph with a top speed of 155mph with the limiter, without it, the Coupe can go up to 180mph. The 4.0 liter bi-turbo V8 engine produces 469 bhp power and 650 NM torque in the base model.
