Messi: Pedro deserves everything
Barca weren’t to be denied, though, and in what could be his last game for the club, Pedro pounced on the rebound after Beto had denied Messi his hat-trick.

Pedro came off the bench to score an extra-time victor in a 5-4 thriller over Sevilla in the European Super Cup final on Tuesday, and afterwards was ambiguous on his future.
He was furious with the comments from Fernandez and made clear in the aftermath of Barcelona’s triumph that he has made no decision yet.
Barcelona’s Lionel Messi has admitted that he has no idea where Pedro will be playing his football next season. “I don’t know, I don’t know if I will continue here”, he added. I just want to enjoy the title and I am happy to have scored a goal.
“It is not a question of money, but of minutes”, he said.
“It is down to consistency, minutes and I am an ambitious player“.
Spanish newspaper El Confidencial starts with the headline “Pedro leaves with glory” (google translation) and inside the article, they claim Pedro is ready to leave Barca to join Manchester United.
“Do I want to leave?”
Nevertheless, Emery was left optimistic despite his side’s late loss to the Champions League holders.
After the game Barcelona fans already start pleading to Pedro to stay in Barcelona.
“Manchester? Yes, there are nice challenges on all sides”. We now have to think about the Spanish Super Cup [against Athletic Club on Friday and Monday]. Things looked even rosier for Barca when Luis Suarez took advantage of some poor defense to make it 4-1. “I have always given everything for this club and I hope I will be able to continue doing so”, said Pedro.
“I talked with the president and others”.
“I understand why you’re interested in this matter but I’m not going to say any more about it”.

“I am though very happy with the way that we won and showed the hard work that is necessary”. “And if I go, I will go with my head held high having always given everything”.
