Leganes had beaten Celta Vigo and held Atletico Madrid in their opening two matches of the season, but were simply blown away by the finishing power of MSN oin a match that finally fimished 5-1 to the visitors.
Lionel Messi was in sparkling form along with Neymar and Luis Suarez as Barcelona put five past a hapless Leganes in their La Liga encounter.
Barcelona on the other hand will be hoping to deal with this week’s La Liga fixture much better than how they handles last weekend’s, with the reigning champions being left stunned by newly-promoted CD Alaves in a 2-1 loss.
Neymar and Lionel Messi have gone blond for the season.
Leganes continued to commit players forward on home soil, but it was Barcelona that made the breakthrough in the 15th minute when Suarez raced clear down the right before setting up Messi, who could not miss from close range.
The lack of a recognised right-back and holding midfielder Sergio Busquets prompted the tactical switch from Luis Enrique, and the latter’s absence was keenly felt as Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic struggled for control in central areas.
Messi netted twice, including an empathic penalty, while Suarez and Neymar also got on the scoresheet in the first half.
Its high defensive line, however, only left Barcelona’s big three with plenty of room to romp.
Suarez then rampaged down the left, with a last-ditch challenge from Pablo Insua nearly resulting in a remarkable own-goal.
Leganes did get a consolation, as Gabriel bent a superb free-kick around the wall and out of the reach of Marc-Andre ter Stegen.

But, to continue a theme a minute before the break, Leganes’ porous backline was ruthlessly unpicked once more and, following great work from Messi on halfway, Suarez decided it was Neymar’s turn to enjoy a tap-in. They are on to 17 already, following 10 in a prolific week.
