“Manus x Machina” is the theme for Met Gala 2016. The pop singer enjoyed a night out with her Haim pals – and they looked like they were having a blast.

But he really outdid himself on this year’s Met Gala red carpet.

Beauty and glamour dominated the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala 2016 or Met Gala as it was widely known, on Monday May 2, with most of the sought-after celebrities participating.

The first time this couple has officially attended an event together!

In 2015, Kardashian did away with flaunting her shoes by rocking a sheer floor-length Roberto Cavalli gown that exposed almost every part of her body but her feet.

Her hubby Kanye West wore a Balmain silver-embellished denim jacket to match, with ripped jeans and a scowl on his face as he explained his fashion intention.

Swift chosen to bring some magic that was metallic to the function, wearing a cutout silver Louis Vuitton dress with black lace-up heels.

Model Kendall Jenner, 20, stunned in a Versace gown that flashed her abs and had a trendy halter neckline.

Idris Elba led the British talent on the red carpet as one of the gala’s hosts, and had some fashion tips for men getting ready for the event. Often referred to as the “Oscars of the East Coast” it’s a black tie extravaganza held to raise money for the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Yahoo Editor Erica Ostroff says this year did not disappoint, starting with Claire Danes who nailed the theme. “Well, I helped design it, so I think it’s the flawless dress for me”, she told Us Weekly video correspondent Christina Garibaldi on the red carpet.

Gigi Hadid was accompanied by Zayn Malik, who completed his suit with silver metal arms. And looking at you Katy Perry, and your black velvet Prada gown with the gold embellishment that looked like it could hurt someone. With short, choppy bangs and messy texture, she gave the style an edgy-yet-classy vibe that worked perfectly with her navy v-neck mini-dress and combat boots.
