Metal-Clad Huawei Honor 5C Is Official, Priced At $139
The latest one is the Huawei Honor 5C, which has been just been certified by TENAA in China and it’s going to be available for 899 Yuan, which converts to approximately Rs 9,224 or $139. After reaping success with the Huawei P9 and P9 Plus, the company chose to launch another handset that is more affordable than the flagship offering.

Honor 5C specifications, features: The smartphone flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with 423ppi, and is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 650 octa-core chipset paired with Mali T830 GPU. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and packs 16GB of storage which can be expanded via microSD card (up to 128GB). The Huawei Honor 5C price is set at $140 for China, but it is unclear at this point whether Huawei will sell this device internationally.
As for its imaging feature, Tech First Post noted that the Honor 5C is said to flaunt a 13-megapixel camera at the back with dual LED flash and f/2.0 aperture. 6 which means it can support download speeds of up to 300Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50Mbps. On the front, there is a rather formidable 8-megapixel camera.

Apart from 4G, the smartphone supports GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity options. It weighs around 156 grams and measures 147.1×73.8×8.3 mm. The device is powered by a 3000mAh battery. It supports dual-SIM connectivity, both Micro-SIM cards, and the Honor 5C LTE comes with 4G LTE connectivity on both SIM cards. The Honor 5C also features a fingerprint sensor at the back. It operates on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 on top of it. Honor 5C is backed with 3000 mAh non-removable battery, making it efficient enough to run high end applications.
