If you haven’t yet, take a few minutes to watch all the new Metal Gear Online gameplay footage that debuted during the 2015 Tokyo Game Show. If you Fulton extract them rather than killing them, their bounty value is added to your team’s ticket total, allowing for dramatic, last-minute point swings that reward tactical play. It’s good to see the trademark blend of military seriousness and slapstick silliness make it into multiplayer.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was released on September 1. Taking out superpowered characters by dropping supply crates on their heads or smoking an e-cigar to pass the time are all par for the course in the “Metal Gear” games.

In Cloak and Dagger, attackers win by recovering the Data Disc and uploading it at the Evac Point within the time limit. Attackers are armed with only non-lethal weapons while defenders only have lethal weapons. Growing up, I played games that all had the same kind of story: American hero goes in, eliminates terrorists, completes the mission and moves out. The Phantom Pain starts out like so many Metal Gears before, seemingly driven by narrative, with a first, scripted level that sets the tone, introduces a odd conflict. This class is for intermediate players.

As for the classes, the Infiltrators are experts at close-quarters combat and are most effective when concealed by stealth camouflage.

The stage events will showcase more of Metal Gear Online and will also feature 8 VS 8 exhibition matches. If the interrogation is successful, you gain intel on the enemy team’s location, which is automatically shared with your buddy. Some things, such as the game’s dynamic weather system, can either help or hinder you, depending on how you incorporate it into your plans.
