‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ news
Konami, however, did not go into detail regarding the contents of the upcoming DLC.

Even though the story in the final version of the game is pretty much unfinished, it seems like series creator Hideo Kojima already had a clear idea on the Metal Gear Solid V The Phantom Pain themes a few years ago, as revealed in a new interview with the MGSV novel author Kanji Yano.
The previous “Metal Gear Online” which was released as a standalone title for previous consoles also featured the Survival mode, but it is not yet known whether or not it will be the same with the current mode. The update makes the game far more friendly to newer players by significantly speeding up the leveling up process. Players are given Reward points based on their match win streaks, rather than their performance each round.
In related news, Konami has been mum about when the PC version of “Metal Gear Online” will be released on Steam. That said, many fans will still undoubtedly breathe a sigh of relief just knowing that Konami still has plans to support the online portion of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain after shuttering the studio originally responsible for handling development/support of MGO. Now players require less XP to reach the next levels, meaning those that received the game for Christmas will have less trouble catching up with the more experienced veterans. According to the company, the latest update increases the lethal range of the shotgun and reduces the draw speed of the SERVAL AMR-7 and other machine guns.
Adjustments were also made to MGO’s Stun Grenade. Survival was a feature in previous iterations of MGO.

But here’s the weird thing: The game released this past September belies any worry you could have found in the drama surrounding its final months of development.
