Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain Q&A Held On Twitter
Mother Base will make a return in The Phantom Pain but this time, it will be more than just a series of menus as it will be a huge and fully explorable area. It will take you several hours to complete the main game, plus there are the many side missions included as well with the online component on top of that too. The photos prove that the Fox Engine used for the game can do wonders, with all versions looking fantastic. The PC variants are predictably beefier, with support of a maximum 4K resolution (3840×2160) output but is also capped at 60FPS. At the lower end of the spectrum (outside of the last-gen PS3 and Xbox 360 versions running at 720p) is the Xbox One, which will run the game at 900p. We’re now getting some new details about the game from the developer, Konami.

One aspect of the game that may bother some users is that FOBs are only defendable while you’re online.
With just mere weeks away from release Konami has revealed the full specs for its AAA stealth espionage blockbuster Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain across all platforms, giving gamers a quick look of what kind of performance values that can be expected for next month’s launch.
In terms of the design, Konami assured the fans that their FOBs will not be identical to each other. “This includes how many soldiers, security devices, or high-powered weapons are available in each area”, the developer explained.
“Additionally, FOBs can be developed and your base defenses can be customized while you’re offline.”
You’ll have to do the PlayStation/Xbox comparisons yourself!
