Metallica debut new single
The “Master of Puppets” hitmakers have said that only a “cosmic reason” could prevent them from releasing the album this year.

In a statement, the group said their 11th studio album – which will contain two discs and almost 80 minutes of music — was “a long time coming” and is set for release on November 18.
Metallica are to release a new album after an eight-year pause.
LOS ANGELES (AP) – Metallica is preparing to self-destruct – in a good way!
The show saw Metallica perform the live debut of “Hardwired”, the lead track from their forthcoming album, “Hardwired To Self Destruct”.
The “Nothing Else Matters” and “Unforgiven” band explained that “Hardwired”. It features twelve tracks, and a deluxe edition disc will include riff origins of several Metallica tracks, including “Lords Of Summer” and “Lima”. Sure, it has been almost a decade since the Bay Area legends last dropped a platter of new tunes on the world, but it’s not like James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo have been standing idly by, twiddling their thumbs as fans begged and pleaded for a new record.

The band announced the release of their first album in eight years last week (August 18), the double album “Hardwired”.
