Metro Los Angeles Train Derailed After Colliding with auto in Compton
One person was injured after a Metro Blue Line train crashed with a auto in Willowbrook Monday morning.

The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m.at Willowbrook Avenue and East 119th Street in the South LA area, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department. The Times reports that the driver of the vehicle suffered injuries, but the extent of the injuries is unknown and they were transported to a nearby hospital, according to City News Service.
The Little Tokyo/Arts District Station was closed, and buses were brought in to ferry passengers in both directions between Union Station and the Pico Aliso Station, said Jose Ubaldo of Metro. Metro says delays are expected on northbound and southbound lines.
A Metro light rail train derailed Monday morning after striking a auto on the tracks near Compton, sheriff’s officials said.
Metro said it was attempting to complete repairs and restore full service by the afternoon rush hour.
