At MetroPCS, customers using the phone rebate would be able to get an LG Leon LTE, Kyocera Hydro WAVE, Samsung Core Prime or LG K7 for free.

MetroPCS’ plan is a direct shot at Sprint’s “Biggest Deal in US Wireless History” promotion that was run during the holidays, CNet reports. If you switch from Sprint, you’ll get two lines with 2GB of LTE data for $50 a month. Now, T-Mobile’s flagship prepaid brand, MetroPCS, is offering something pretty similar.
According to MetroPCS, the savings vary based on what service Sprint customers now have. MetroPCS now has a deal they are calling “The Biggest Offer in Sprint’s History”, and are trying to convince Sprint customers to switch.
All you have to do is switch any current Sprint, Virgin Mobile or Boost number to MetroPCS to save anywhere from 22% to 50% off Sprint’s current Family Share Pack pricing when switching one or two lines.
The deal, which begins January 21, entices Sprint customers to switch to MetroPCS for savings of up to 50% compared with Sprint’s current rate plans. If you’d prefer something else, you can put that $50 toward a different phone that MetroPCS sells.
Though T-Mobile and Sprint have yet to post their results for the final quarter of 2015, MetroPCS claimed in its Wednesday release that an “average of almost 5,000 customers per day joined MetroPCS from the Sprint network over the last quarter”.
“For anyone who’s been stuck or is regretting a recent switch to Sprint, this is a lifeline”. Unlimited data plan subscribers can save up to 22 percent on their single-line bill, MetroPCS says.

With MetroPCS you also get their Data Maximizer, which optimizes data over their network so that you can stretch that data plan even further than before. Those now on a $50 or $60 a month plan can add a new line with 5GB of 4G LTE data for just $30 a month. As well as Music Unlimited which allows you to stream music from a variety of sources, without it hitting your data cap as well.
