Mets manager Collins gets contract through 2017

Players have a voice in clubhouse rules, travel attire and other assorted matters important to them.

All those years of losing were suddenly a distant memory.

At the start of this season, the baseball cognoscenti ignored the Royals, relegating them back to bottom feeders. “With the number of anticipated absences, it simply makes more sense to cancel class to allow our community to celebrate”. Yeah, beat him too.
