Metta Coming Back to Lakers

Metta recently opened up about how he wants to help Julius work on his basketball intelligence, off-ball activity and other aspects of his game in an interview with Mark Medina of the Los Angeles Daily News. Keeping a younger player like Jonathan Holmes might be better if it comes down to it, but the Lakers have enough excess baggage they can get rid of to make room.

With the Lakers expected to be led by Kobe Bryant this season once more, a lot of focus lies on the performance of its young players.

“It made me the person I am today”, Randle said. He and Bryant played one-on-one during the pre-season and Randle said he was humbled by Bryant’s work ethics.

He mostly relied on the cooked meals Lakers chef Sandra Padilla provides for the team, but also shopped for groceries with DiFrancesco.

“You learn his tricks”, Randle said of training with World Peace. “You’ll see”. Kobe’s going to challenge you and push you.
