Metta World Peace Files Restraining Order Against Lunatic Female Stalker
Less than a week away from going up to Santa Barbara for their 2016 training camp, the Los Angeles Lakers completed filling out their camp roster with a couple of interesting names: Thomas Robinson, officially, and Metta World Peace, per The Vertical at Yahoo! The Lakers could put more value this year on investing in a younger roster than retaining a veteran player not expected to provide significant minutes. Signing World Peace was a wise move for the Lakers front office to make. With this being the first full year of seeing the full product on the floor from the rebuilding process that has his hands on every player acquisition to reload after the Kobe Bryant era, the Lakers owners and fan base should be patient. For his career, he has averaged 13.5 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while serving as one of the NBA’s premiere lock-down wing defenders during his prime years.

Robinson, 25, was selected by the Sacramento Kings with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2012 draft.
Robinson played for five teams in his first four National Basketball Association seasons, averaging 4.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game over his career.
The player formerly known as Ron Artest is reuniting with former teammate and now Lakers coach Luke Walton.
“To play, everything”, World Peace told Romona Shelburne of ESPN.
D’Angelo Russell, then a Los Angeles Lakers rookie, felt that way pretty much from the offseason to the end of the regular season, and not in a good way.

However, World Peace has managed to stick around in the league not because of his deteriorating skills, but rather, because of his surprising emergence as a mentor and role model for younger players. He will join newly signed veterans Luol Deng and Timothy Mozgov. They won a championship in 2010.
