Metta World Peace makes Lakers’ roster

Prior to tip-off the Lakers held a moment of silence to honor the late head coach of the Timberwolves, Flip Saunders, who passed away earlier this week. Saunders was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma in August and had been receiving treatment. On Friday, team owner Glen Taylor announced that Saunders would not return as coach, after being hospitalized since September.

“It’s unbelievable”, coach Byron Scott said before the game in addressing Bryant’s impending mark. “It”™s harder than what people think,” he said Monday.

Anyways, there must be a balance to this team.

On the court, it’s a mostly inexperienced group for Minnesota.

Sam Mitchell has taken over the team this year and the roster has a young core along with Garnett, Andre Miller and Tayshaun Prince.

In reality, it was a comeback that could happen because of the simple reality that this is Lakers Lite, stretching from its superstar talisman, right through the squad.

After news surfaced that Lamar Odom was hospitalized after being found unconscious, Lakers star Kobe Bryant left a pre-season game in Las Vegas to be by his friend’s side.

D’Angelo Russell was drafted and is expected to start in the point guard position.

DiBartolomeo averaged a team-leading 22.6 points while also posting good numbers in rebounding (5.7), assists (5.3) and steals (2.0) as a senior for UR.

Much older. The 37-year-old Bryant has entered his 20th and perhaps final National Basketball Association season, which sets a league record over former Utah guard John Stockton for most seasons played for one franchise.

“It wasn’t easy being a vet and trying to get back in the league”, World Peace said after practice at the Lakers’ training complex. The 2013 NCAA Division III Player of the Year for UR, DiBartolomeo and Maccabi also lost 97-84 to the Memphis Grizzlies on October 8 as part of their two-game, National Basketball Association Tour. The Wolves took Towns first out of Kentucky that night, the Lakers went next and selected Russell out of Ohio State.

“Some would say I would feel relief and joy, but it is a flat emotion because I’m focused on one thing. This is the beginning of their careers and their journey”.

The Los Angeles Lakers opened up the 2015-16 season with a disappointing loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. The play from Jordan Clarkson and Julius Randle has been great, they are proving to be the bright spots for the young Lakers.
