Guzman broke out of Mexican prison in 2001, and afterward the government had multiple near misses when trying recapturing him.
However, no further information was released on how Guzman traveled the roughly 100 miles from Altiplano, just north of Mexico City, to Queretaro, where the plane was waiting. To make things even more depressing, that children would like to be drug lords, almost half of the costumes sold, over 1,400 of them, have been sold to Americans, according to The Washington Post. “It was amusing in a way for us to show criticism of our government”, Esponda said, “after it arrested El Chapo and then watched him escape only a few months later”.
On Friday, the Mexican government announced that Guzman escaped the clutches of police after they tracked him to the mountains of northwestern Mexico. The other end of the tunnel, which opened up in the middle of a building site, there were a pile of clothes left waiting for him, allowing him to blend in with the public after escaping.
Mexican military helicopters had come under fire and a team of marine had entered the ranch and chased the drug lord who fled on ATV’s, NBC claimed.
The marines later went in on foot and found cellphones, medication and two-way radios. Officials did not say exactly where or when recent events took place, but the statement cited information-sharing with worldwide agencies for leading authorities to the area.
The states of Durango, Sinaloa and Chihuahua meet in a drug-producing region known as the Gold Triangle, a bastion of Guzman’s drug cartel.
According to the Mirror as well as local newspapers, Mexican marines have searched and closed off at least 13 communities in the area, efforts that have forced hundreds of people out of their homes.
The search for “El Chapo” intensifies in Mexico.

The security footage shows that at least 28 minutes pass from the time Guzman disappears down the hole until guards raise the alarm that the drug lord is not in his cell.
