MGM at Las Vegas to host Ultimate Fighter 22 on December 11
The season is expected to air on FOX Sports 1 this September. On Wednesday, the promotion announced “The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale” will go down Friday, December 11, one day before MGM Grand Garden Arena hosts UFC 194.

The Ultimate Fighter 22 features McGregor and Urijah Faber as coaches.
Two fights have already been added to the card and they’re pretty good as far as TUF finale cards go with a guaranteed Fight of the Night between lightweights Joe Lauzon and Evan Dunham while Ryan LaFlare takes on Mike Pierce at 170 lbs. Prior to that, Lauzon had scored wins over Mac Danzig and Michael Chiesa before dropping a TKO loss to “Raging” Al Iaquinta at last January’s UFC 183. Dunham himself will make his 16th appearance in the UFC, and he also enters off a win, having defeated Ross Pearson by decision in July. Pierce is returning to action for the first time since 2013 when he took on the highly controversial Rousimar Palhares. LaFlare is also coming off of a loss to Demain Maia last march.

Many anticipate UFC 194 on December. 12 to be the biggest event of the year.
