Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin blames himself for Buffalo Bills defeat

The only player with a sack is second-round draft pick Jordan Phillips in the season opener.

Carson Palmer threw for 311 yards – stretching his NFL-best win streak to nine games – as Arizona Cardinals cruised to a 47-7 triumph over the San Francisco 49ers. Great question, as there is no ideal head coach in waiting on the Dolphins staff. But there has to be an ex National Football League coach out there somewhere who could come in and instill a few discipline, fire & toughness to this team. The Dolphins have been outgained 482-107 in the first quarter of those games, which contributes to the fact they have abandoned the running game. They play Sunday in London against another AFC East rival, the New York Jets. Miami spent $114 million on the major addition of Pro Bowl defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who has yet to make an impact. But, for the third week in a row, Suh was a non-factor.

“We’re either going to stick together or not”, Philbin said. “But it will be fun once we get everybody about 100 percent”. Quarterback Ryan Tannehill looked nothing less than frustrated as the Bills dismantled Miami’s offense.

“And so this is not a time to me to panic”. “We have 13 games left”. At 2-1, Buffalo is on its way up. That’s why it was no surprise to him, or anyone else on offense, when Taylor was a ideal 5-for-5 passing on the opening possession to account for all 77 yards on the scoring drive that he finished with a 25-yard touchdown pass to Charles Clay.

Though Incognito’s suspension was lifted following the season, he spent the next 15 months out of football before getting an opportunity to restart his career with the Bills in February.

The Bills were efficient in both the run and pass game during the team’s Week 3 victory in Miami. McCoy scored on a crossing pattern underneath coverage. One of the biggest deficiencies of this ballclub is its inability to protect and buy quarterback Ryan Tannehill more time to go through his progressions.

It was easy for the Buffalo Bills to talk in the offseason.

Of course, beating the Raiders was just a step on the way to an 8-8 record and it’s hard to believe that will qualify as a solution to the team’s problems again this season. “I made a bad decision”.

Dan Carpenter added a field goal five minutes into the second making it a 17-0 Bills lead. Tannehill completed a 21-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Rishard Matthews. It seemed the only strategy was throwing to WR Jarvis Landry underneath and seeing if he could get yards after catch.
