Michael Bay tweets picture of new ‘Transformers’ Bumblebee
Production on Transformers: The Last Knight is happening right now, and as director Michael Bay has been rolling cameras on his the latest sequel in the toy-based blockbuster franchise, there have been several announcements. Recently, a 1992 Peterbilt 379 truck and 1967 Chevrolet Camaro that also served as alternate modes for Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, respectively, in “Transformers”, were showcased at auction. In fact the popularity increased so much that Chevrolet even created an official Bumblebee Edition Camaro for Fans to live their Transformers dreams.

One character already set up for a spinoff is Bumblebee, the yellow Transformer who befriended human Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) in the far simpler time that was the summer of 2007.
Of course it’s worth noting that that’s not actually the Twitter handle for General Motors, which is @GM … Isabela Moner will play the female lead, while Anthony Hopkins was also confirmed to appear, although his role is not yet known.
This will be the first Transformers movie to arrive in the wake of a writer’s room forming at Paramount to hash out ideas and scripts for the series’ future entries.

While the technical details of this particular vehicle are still at large, but as the Michael Bay tried to express in his tweet, Chevrolet really did an exceptional job with the design. We should see all the action bonanza on screens (bigger, the better, hello IMAX) starting June 23, 2017.
