Michael Cera Joins Lego Batman Movie as Voice of Robin
Arnett and Cera previously worked together on Arrested Development, which makes me wonder if they could just populate the entire Lego Batman cast with AD alums. The film spins off of the digital Dark Knight’s successful appearance in The LEGO Movie, and will once again feature Will Arnett as the voice of Batman.

The animated comedy has enlisted Michael Cera to voice Robin in its DC Comics spinoff of the smash hit Lego Movie. Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Roy Lee, and Dan Lin are producing.
Batman was one of the breakout characters of The Lego Movie. Cera’s Superbad costar, Jonah Hill, previously cameoed in The LEGO Movie as fellow DC Comics superhero Green Lantern. Chris McKay, the animation supervisor on The Lego Movie, will direct. “Something about my parents!”
Everything is cool when you’re part of the team, George Michael Bluth! He also recently nabbed the film rights to Charles Portis’ (True Grit) 1985 novel Masters of Atlantis, which he plans to develop as an acting, writing, and directing project for himself.
