Michael Clemente, Fox Executive, Ousted From Network
Clemente’s departure follows the forced resignation of Fox’s founder and CEO Roger Ailes, signaling another tectonic shift for the almost two-decade-old network.

Murdoch and his son, 21st Century Fox executive chairman Lachlan Murdoch, are said to have approved Clemente’s departure, which the Fox News management team had pushed for under Ailes.
A source with knowledge of the situation said his exit was unrelated to the sexual harassment allegations made against former Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes. Clemente joined Fox News in 2009 after almost three decades at ABC News. Clemente was replaced by Jay Wallace, and moved to oversee the specials/longform division.
Clemente’s exit comes after the Fox executive was demoted in April. Boyer, a Fox News editor-at-large, was also assigned to the unit. Boyer joined from Newsweek &The Daily Beast after spending 18 years at The New Yorker.
Ailes, 76, resigned from Fox News last Thursday after a sexual harassment suit was brought against him 15 days prior by former host Gretchen Carlson. Several other women, including current anchor Megyn Kelly, have since reportedly come forward with similar stories.
