Antoine Rigaudeau of France, Lithuania’s Sarunas Marciulionis, Vladimir Tkachenko of Russia/Ukraine, Cuba’s Ruperto Herrera Tabio, Anne Donovan of the United States and Australian coach Jan Stirling will also be inducted.
Maybe Jordan will get the FIBA Hall of Fame to update its website for the first time since 2013.
FIBA’s Hall of Fame Class of 2015, which consists of nine individals from seven countries, will be inducted during a ceremony on September 19 at the Theatre of Hotel Casino Barriere in Lille, France.
MJ, the proud owner of two Olympic Gold Medals, will be honored along with eight other worldwide hoops greats.
Among Jordan’s teammates at the time were Patrick Ewing, Sam Perkins, Chris Mullin and Wayman Tisdale. After the first one, he starred on the famed Dream Team in 1992 in Barcelona, Spain.
He also became a member of the “Dream Team” that included Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, and David Robinson.
This latest honor appends the long list of achievements that Jordan has had in his career. He retired once again in 1999 and then made a sudden return with the Washington Wizards in 2001.

With his 6-0 record in the National Basteball Association finals, it’s really not that surprising to hear that he never lost a gold medal game neither.
