Michael Moore protests outside Trump Tower holding controversial Muslim sign

If you’re going to symbolically excommunicate him from the party, at least pick a sin where you know the majority of Republicans will side with you rather than him, like Trump suddenly playing footsie with Putin.

“We are all Muslim”.

Michael Moore has a blunt message for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump: “We are all Muslim”.

Moore slammed Trump’s call to ban Muslims from the U.S.as a desperate and insane plea.

Michael Moore won’t be invited to the Trump Tower holiday party this year. How is it a lesson in loyalty to Trump to preemptively declare one’s disloyalty to him?

The resolution initially included wording that said Trump wasn’t welcome in the city, but that was omitted before Wednesday’s vote after it drew much criticism, including an editorial from the Star Tribune that said a “not welcome” declaration against the Republican went too far. “She said you didn’t want to be “ripped apart” and you wanted to be reassured I wouldn’t ‘go after you, ‘” he wrote.

Trump said Tuesday at the CNN-Facebook debate.

And so, as you may remember, I did. It not only opens with his recollection of his 1998 television green room meeting with Trump where he had to supposedly calm the billionaire and assure that he wasn’t going to “pick on” him – a remarkable story that reads like a fourth-grade nerd’s fantasy win over his real-life bully. “I was struck by how you, a self-described tough guy from Queens, seemed like such a fraidey-cat”. Allegedly, according to Moore, Trump was scared to meet him out of fear that Moore might cause a scene. We are all children of God (or nature or whatever you believe in), part of the human family, and nothing you say or do can change that fact one iota. “That boogeyman, in your mind, are all Muslims”. Not just the ones who have killed, but ALL MUSLIMS.

Moore argues that Trump’s behaviour is not only racist, but is also outdated and it doesn’t reflect the multicultural country America is in 2015.

“We received lots of questions following Donald Trump’s most recent unhinged proposal so our campaign did due diligence looking into the rules surrounding the pledge”, said a senior Bush aide who spoke on condition of anonymity.

Earlier, at Prime Minister’s Questions, asked by Labour MP Tulip Siddiq whether there was a case for the United Kingdom to bar the businessman – who has major commercial interests in the country – the next time he wanted to visit, Mr Cameron replied in Parliament.

An online petition, on an official government website, has now garnered over half a million signatures calling for a ban on Trump entering the country. I was raised to believe that we are all each other’s brother and sister, regardless of race, creed or colour.
