Michael Moore to Donald Trump: We are all Muslim

Moore also published a picture of himself in front of Trump Tower in NY with the caption “We are all Muslim”.

In the letter, Moore reminded Trump that the USA today is no longer a country of “angry white guys”, that the future United States president will be chosen by more diverse voters and that “fortunately” the U.S. no longer looks like Trump or his supporters. That bogeyman, in your mind, are all Muslims.

Bernie Sanders said Donald Trump was making Mexicans and Muslim Americans the scapegoats for the nation’s problems.

“The reason I ask this is, if you are going to close the Internet, realize America what that entails”. Moore was inspired to create #WeAreAllMuslim in response to the Republican candidate’s divisive campaign rhetoric, in particular Trump’s recent speeches riddled with Islamophobia.

Moore’s comments come on the heels of Trump’s campaign promise that his presidency would stop Muslims from entering the USA, a stance that he reinforced this week at the GOP debate. In other words, not you.

“After the Paris attacks and hate this week, I can only imagine the fear Muslims feel that they will be persecuted for the actions of others”, Mr. Zuckerberg wrote in a post on his Facebook page. ‘The producer says you’re anxious I might say or do something to you during the show.

Imam Abdullah Polovina, an immigrant from the former Yugoslavia who leads a Muslim Bosnian congregation in Portland, told the council that area Muslims strongly condemn violence and extremism of any kind.

Moore went on to say that he was raised to believe in equality of people as brothers and sisters, regardless of race, colour and religion.

It still includes a thinly veiled reference to Trump’s call for a ban on Muslims entering the USA, but it doesn’t name the candidate outright.

Trump took on widespread criticism when he appeared to mock a New York Times reporter with a disability last month, though Trump denied he was doing so.

“If you don’t like living by these American rules, then you need to go to the time-out room in any one of your Towers, sit there, and think about what you’ve said”. He pointed out that although all Muslims are not Jihadists, but the reality is that all Jihadists are Muslims and the government must “stop worrying about offending some people and start defending all Americans”.
