Returning home from Rio as the most-decorated Olympian of all time (so wonderful!), the 31-year-old enjoyed his official first day of retirement with his fiancée Nicole Johnson and their adorable baby boy Boomer. Though considering that Phelps is probably more fish than human at this point, it’s a fitting environment.

Michael Phelps may be the most decorated Olympian of all time, but these days he’s thinking about putting his energies into a different kind of deep end – by expanding his family!

Meanwhile, Phelps said he is fine with three-month-old Boomer taking up swimming.
