The 18-time Olympic gold medalist and his fiancée Nicole Johnson announced the birth of his son with an Instagram post on Saturday.

Michael Phelps is officially a dad to a little boy!
Phelps credited Johnson for being “nothing but one of the best supporters I could ask for”. “Healthy and happy!!!! Best feeling I have ever felt in my life!!!” the athlete captioned the snapshot.
The two announced they were expecting a child back in November.
Phelps said fiancee Nicole Johnson gave birth on Thursday night, and posted a picture of himself cradling the infant at Johnson’s bedside.
Add raising a new kid to Phelps’ list of responsibilities… he’s got the Olympics coming up in just a few weeks.
Johnson, a former Miss California, and Phelps announced plans to get married following the Rio games.

“It will be good for him, like it is for me”, she said.
