Michael Strahan Doesnt Live Here Anymore
“Oh that’s right, you don’t read newspapers”, she replied. When she came back to the show, Ripa told the audience that she needed time to process the news about her show being shaken up in a major way – without her knowledge.

The rock anthem “Go Big or Go Home” (by American Authors-this morning’s musical guests) set the tone-Ripa even gallantly held out Kimmel’s chair for him, as Strahan would do for her.
A string of guest hosts will now audition for the job in the coming months, though Kimmel was just filling in. “It’s Monday, May 16, and of course, as is tradition, whenever we relaunch the show, my first co-host is Jimmy Kimmel”. “It wasn’t air kissing”.
Days after Michael Strahan said goodbye to Live with Kelly & Michael, where he served as a host for almost four years, the daytime talk show has a new look.
Michael Strahan’s wide grin Tuesday morning on “Good Morning America” said it all – there’s no more bitterness or awkwardness to deal with at the office.
Speaking to People after Strahan’s exit, Ripa said: “We have to now find another great person, which is fun but challenging”.
In addition, Kimmel brought along a wheel for Ripa to spin so that she could choose from seven possible co-hosts to replace Strahan.
Kimmel then asked if Strahan would ever appear on the show as a guest.
At one point Monday, Kimmel called out to the show’s executive producer Michael Gelman. Kylie Jenner was a suggestion, because Kimmel indicated the two names “had a nice ring to it”.
There was no way that Jimmy Kimmel was going to let Kelly off the hook without talking about her former co-host and BFF.
Although, the experienced host doesn’t think there’s a chance for the stint to become permanent, given his already full plate.
The wheel was spun, the sausage won.
The show, which up until Friday was known as “Live! with Kelly and Michael” has a new name, “Live with Kelly”, along with a new logo, which you can see below.

Strahan wasted no time exiting the show on Friday following his final episode, leaving 30 minutes after he gave his farewell speech.
