Michelle Dockery Hints at Possibility of a Downton Abbey Movie
Lady Mary is giving us hope! In an interview with The Telegraph, Dockery said she still misses her cast mates, and that the cast has remained close since the show ended.

Michelle said she wanted “to land something so different from what I did for the last six years”. “It may not be over yet”.
Michelle Dockery has praised her family and friends with helping her cope following her fiancé’s tragic death.
The 34-year-old Good Behavior actress teased that a movie could still happen in the future.
As Downton was drawing to a close past year, Michelle was sadly dealing with the loss of her fiancé John Dineen, who died of cancer at the age of 34. That is something I would wholeheartedly consider, so we will see.
Plus she and the other actors-probably even those traitors Dead Matthew and Dead Sybil-are all such good buds, it would be nearly too easy picking up right where they left off.
However, the cast of Downton Abbey is and always will be family to each other, so it was tough to part after spending so much time together.

“I was very fortunate to go from Downton Abbey on to this quite quickly. But we are still very close”, she said. Dockery was also grateful for the “release” her role in “Good Behaviour” gave her. It wasn’t a conscious decision to do something so totally different from Lady Mary but I was completely hooked on the script from the first page and I loved the complexity of the character.
