Michelle Keegan took the reins in Our Girl but reaction was mixed
“It’s so annoying!” said Michelle, chatting to Nick Grimshaw on The BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show. I was living in hotels at the time and I didn’t want to keep my ring in the hotel in case it gets lost.so I didn’t have it on and the next thing the papers blew up, it’s silly really.

“You can’t engage in it”.
Commenting on why she was spotted without her wedding ring on several occasions, Keegan said: “Oh the ring! I just don’t read any of the negative press now”.
“There’s more to life than being negative and putting a negative spin on it”.
TV presenter Mark had accompanied Mich to the BBC studios, however didn’t sit in on the interview.
The 29-year-old actress – who portrayed Tina McIntyre in the long-running soap for six years – first thought about bowing out of the programme in 2012 but eventually took the leap in 2014 after realising she would be plagued with regret otherwise. Her doting husband Mark followed closely behind, wrapping an affectionate arm around his wife. “He’s working in London so he just jumped a lift with me”.
The former Coronation Street actress will be seen getting up close and personal with co-star Luke Pasqualino in the opening minutes of the first episode of BBC One drama Our Girl on Wednesday night.
The second series opened with Georgie being dispatched to Kenya on a humanitarian mission, after being jilted at the altar. I like all the gritty stuff.
After almost a two-year break, BBC’s army drama Our Girl debuted the first episode from its second season tonight (September 7), and while a large portion of people were happy with Michelle Keegan in the lead role, not everyone was entirely convinced following the action-packed first season. “In Our Girl I couldn’t wear any make-up because you wouldn’t do that in the army and I loved that, it was very liberating”.

She said: “To be fair, he was reading the scripts with me so he knew what was going to happen. I hadn’t done any medical training before, but luckily for me, advisers really helped with that”. I think because I was in “Corrie” and my character Tina went with a few men so he’s used to it. “He didn’t actually mention it, I think because we’ve been together for so long, he’s not bothered anymore”.
