Curry and President Barack Obama have become close golf buddies over the past couple of years, so Ellen DeGeneres asked Curry who the better golfer was between the two. The First Lady had some advice for Curry to turn the tables a little. “That’s top secret. I didn’t have my “A” game when I played him both times”. (Obama has said in the past that he is a 13.) Then the conversation moved to the President’s mind games on the course.

“During his speeches, he has that very slow cadence that kind of draws you in”, Curry said.

“He brings that same kind of vibe to his trash talk”, Curry said.

Curry said when he would hit a poor drive, Obama would coyly respond with, “Yeah, that’s not a good shot”.

Luckily, Michelle was able to give Steph a few pointers to help him when the president starts to trash him. I’m going to need you to do better next time, ” he added, mimicking the president’s delivery. “I hit out of bounds'”.

First Lady Michelle Obama stopped by the Ellen Degeneres show on Tuesday, and she gave Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry some pointers on how to trash-talk her husband.

“Talk about his ears”, Obama told Curry. “As you’re putting, you should say, ‘The shadow from your ears is really messing up my putt'”.
