Michelle Obama’s carpool karaoke with Missy Elliott is everything

“I’ve been in a vehicle, maybe it was months ago, with my daughter who learned to drive”, she said.

The two have also teamed up on humanitarian causes, like when they appeared together at the Global Citizen Festival in order to raise awareness for the ’62 Million Girls’ education campaign.

Video of Michelle Obama and Missy Elliott taking part in auto karaoke, can be found below. Afterward, she quips, “We were making honey in the Bey hive”.

“Do you mind if we listen to some music?” the First Lady asks.

One of the biggest Music lover Mrs. Obama got the ball rolling swiftly with Stevie Wonder and said she’ll miss most about being First Lady.

In this week’s karaoke session, the First Lady took full advantage of her rare opportunity to sit passenger side and belt out tunes while sitting in traffic.

Michelle Obama on Wednesday proved that she can both sing and dance extremely well when she joined “The Late Late Show” host James Corden for a “Carpool Karaoke”.

The First Lady of the United States hopped in the auto with the British chat show host for an extra special Carpool Karaoke.

Missy Elliot then suddenly appears from the backseat of the auto while Corden and Obama sing “This is for My Girls”, which is a collaborative track that features vocals from the iconic rapper and other artists such as Kelly Clarkson, Zendaya, Lea Michelle, Janelle Monae and Kelly Rowland.

As well as Single Ladies, the pair are seen rocking out to Missy Elliot’s Get Ur Freak On… and then Missy Elliot herself turned up to sing “This Is For My Girls”! Another fun fact? According to Obama, her Secret Service code name is “Renaissance”, and Barack’s is “Renegade”.
