Who knew that the First Lady was a karaoke fan?
Ever since “Late Late Show” host James Corden introduced “Carpool Karaoke”, it’s been a viral hit, attracting all sorts of megastars like Adele and Selena Gomez to sing along with him while he drives in his auto.
The hilarious sketch was filmed in June but won’t air until Wednesday night.
James Corden just secured his biggest guest yet for Carpool Karaoke.
In a teaser clip for tomorrow’s full segment, Michelle explains that she’s rarely ridden in the passenger seat since her husband became president.
Michelle Obama is definitely living up her waning days at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Missy Elliott’s “Get Ur Freak On” can also be heard in the background.
A preview showed the pair dancing to Beyonce’s Single Ladies.
She then asks if she could sing in the auto because in seven-and-a-half years in the White House, she has not had a chance to sing in a vehicle, let alone sit in the passenger seat.
Even though James Corden was in the driver’s seat, it was clear that the First Lady was controlling the show.
