“When she attacked me she hit my back very aggressive and hard and I said, ‘Was there a spider on me?”

“I think I had lost so much blood, I was so dazed, I didn’t realize”, she said.

Michelle Wilkins shared the horrific story in an interview with Dr. Phil.

Lane is now being held on $2 million bail and she pleaded not guilty before the court with eight counts of felony including first-degree unlawful termination of pregnancy, attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault in July and is due to go on trial in early 2016. She actually physically reached across me and closed the door in front of me.

Excerpts from that interview, reported by the Daily Mail on Thursday, tell in heart-wrenching detail what it was like for Michelle Wilkins to have her first and only face-to-face encounter with her daughter, Aurora.

“Where did she cut you?” asks the police dispatcher.

Lane claims that Wilkins tried to stab her, and so she lashed out in self-defense.

“And intuitively, I had that sensation wash over me, I have everything I need”, Wilkins said.

“She pushed me further into the house”.

Barely conscious, Wilkins said she wasn’t aware her baby girl she had named Aurora had been taken from her womb.

Lane allegedly lured Wilkins into her home with a Craiglist ad claiming that she was selling some maternity clothes. Lane’s words were the last moments Wilkins recalls before waking up and calling 911.

The attack on Wilkins made worldwide news, caused a weeks-long media frenzy in Longmont and sparked controversy as to how her alleged assailant should be held to account.

“Pottery is definitely a form of healing and relief for me”, she said.

“In turn she stabbed me and said, ‘If you love me you’ll let me do this, ‘” Wilkins told Dr. Phil.

“What I would share with people is to listen to that inner voice of wisdom”, Wilkins said.

A Boulder judge denied her motion on Monday for a gag order on the District Attorney, police and witnesses, including Wilkins. She remains in custody at Boulder County Jail, and her case is expected to go to trial next year. “She was ideal. Those were our first moments as a family”, Wilkins said.
