Michigan police seek AWOL Marine who threatened to kill wife, family in

According to WNCT.com, 21-year-old Clenard Gee-Simmons threatened to kill his ex-wife and family who live in Michigan.
Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard told WXYZ-TV that Gee-Simmons could “turn himself in” and “put an end to this”. The man had made threats before, threatening to kill his ex-wife and her family prior to her relocation to the Pontiac area. It says she’s filed for divorce.
Oakland County sheriff’s deputies and U.S. Marine Corps. officials continue to look for AWOL deserter who they say could be armed with an AK-47 and headed to Pontiac, where his wife lives. He escaped lockdown at Camp Lejeune, N.C., early Monday morning.
He is believed to be driving a 2011 Toyota Camry, metallic teal in color, with a North Carolina plate reading “DEP 1561”, which is registered to his wife.

A Marine spokeswoman says NCIS is also involved with this investigation.
