Michigan providing water filters in Flint after high lead readings

The filters will be available beginning today through a partnership between the Michigan Department of Health Human Services and the Genesee County Community Action Resource Department.

In late September, a group of doctors also called a news conference to report that blood samples from local children were showing significantly high lead levels, which effectively indicated lead poisoning. “From what I see, the state is working very well with us”.
