When MI State visited Nebraska, it wasn’t considered that much of a test for the Spartans given the Cornhuskers have struggled, particularly in close games. Chesson had hauled in a 41-yard pass to convert a third down earlier in the drive, setting MI up at the goal line. A month later, and the Wolverines actually have a viable shot to win the Big Ten East. MI must beat Penn State next week, while Ohio State needs to defeat MI State.

Chesson entered Saturday with 259 yards on 23 catches, and almost doubled his entire season’s total.
There is no change in the making for the MI Wolverines, a squad that continues to look strong down the stretch. I understand it because the game was in IN, but after a game like that probably isn’t the time to ask that question.
And of course, we can’t forget about Michigan’s number one playmaker.

The defense collapses and the Hoosiers might as well be a D-II football program. The team only hit 21.9% of their field goals, mainly due to a terrible 6.3% from three on 16 attempts. No one else reached double digits, but most of the team didn’t need to do much as the Wolverines rolled with relative ease.
The MI football coach is not interested in repeating that anytime soon.

Sudfeld was 20 of 34 for 220 yards with one TD in his home finale, and Simmie Cobbs Jr. caught four passes for 86 yards.

Saturday demonstrated that #CHAOSTEAM is a fun moniker, but ultimately a failed one that always seems to end in a series of heartbreaks and what-ifs.
