Michigan State Spartans fall in college football top 25 polls

But the most dominating victory of the weekend was by Wisconsin, which crushed Michigan State, 30-6, in East Lansing to move back into the top 10. That’s not an unforgivable loss, but when combined with what happened in South Bend, plus Michigan State’s loss to Wisconsin, it badly hurts Texas’ resume. No. 7 Stanford and No. 10 Washington kick things off Friday night in a Pac-12 showdown.

After Saturday’s debilitating loss, the Michigan State Spartans are falling down the polls.

– No. 18 Utah jumped six spots.

Ole Miss moved up seven spots to No. 16 after its impressive victory over Georgia.

As for Texas A&M, the Aggies further proved their legitimacy as a top 10 team with a convincing 45-24 win over Arkansas in Arlington.

No. 11 Tennessee at No. 25 Georgia.

Boise State cracked the poll for the first time this season at No. 24.

Oklahoma fell out of the poll this week, but that doesn’t mean its visit to TCU will be any less important in the Big 12 race. The Sooners are unranked for the first time since the end of the 2014 season.

LSU’s last-second loss sent the Tigers spiraling right out of the Top 25. Georgia simply looked overmatched at every position against Ole Miss, and with Nick Chubb’s status moving forward in question following an ankle injury Saturday, the Bulldogs may soon be in further trouble.
