Michigan State will play at Maryland on Monday, Jan. 25, at 6 p.m. ET at the XFINITY Center. The schools and the Big Ten conference are working to set a new date.

It turns out Michigan State will wear alternate jerseys at home against Maryland Saturday night. The exchange should take place in advance of the desired game at the box office, or by mailing in the original tickets.
There are plenty of adjectives to describe Michigan State’s matchup with Maryland tonight, and none of them have to do with the fact it features two highly ranked teams playing on national television with ESPN’s College GameDay as a warm-up.

He had three points in the last meeting when the Spartans overcame a 16-point deficit for a 62-58 win in the semifinals of last year’s Big Ten tournament. Furthermore, Maryland is the 2nd best team in the country when it comes to 2-Point field goals (59.1%). He bungled his team out of a win the last time Maryland visited East Lansing. The road team has won five of the last six games between them. We just can’t make late-game mistakes. With speedster point guard Tum Tum Nairn injured, that’s sometimes an issue.
Fortunately for Michigan State, Valentine has quickly returned to form since shooting.
