Microsoft confident despite Sony’s new PlayStation 4 Pro

The PS4 Pro will launch on November 10 for $399 and the slimmer PS4 will launch on September 15 for $299. The PS4 Pro could supply games with ultrahigh definition 4K graphics, more detailed compared to 1080p HD. Some developers have said that PS4 Pro 4K patches for their games would be relatively small.

Sony announced the PS4 Slim and the PS4 Pro consoles.

“In 2017 holiday season, we will bring you the Xbox Scorpio a new console in the Xbox family that will be the most powerful device ever created and will deliver true 4K gaming like never before”. ‘Both we and Sony are investing in 4K as the future of the console space, and we have a history of adding features to our hardware’.

The Microsoft exec was quick to point out that in many aspects the recently-launched Xbox One S is more feature-rich than the PS4 Pro.

It’s not totally clear how the release of the Pro is going to pan out. You know who does have 4K Blu-Ray support?

Even the Spider-Man of Insomniac Games has gone up on the stage of Playstation Meeting to show the visual power of Playstation 4 Pro.

Every PlayStation 4 game is going to work on every PlayStation 4 console.

For $399, the PS4 Pro (aka PS4 Neo) provides a pretty hefty value for what it offers, and I honestly didn’t expect the system to cost as much as regular PS4s at launch. He goes on to say “We think it’s great that Sony are doing this.” and that The Witness will use HDR on all PS4s when available, provided nothing technical prevents it.
