That said, Microsoft are allegedly hosting an Xbox Big Thanksgiving event in Japan in October, which will be a smaller scale event that will reportedly allow fans to go hands on with upcoming games, and even interact with developers.

That could mean that Microsoft might not ever manufacture a white version of the 2TB Xbox One S, but what it more likely represents is the company’s plans to offer the larger console in limited edition colors and bundles.

Additionally, Pocket Lint reported that the Xbox One S console was expected to be launched in three variants of 500 GB, 1 TB, and 2 TB of storage. For instance, this year, for the second year running, Microsoft have confirmed that they will not be bringing the Xbox One to the Tokyo Game Show. However, for those who aren’t too concerned with the amount of storage that they get, particularly because of how easy it is to swap hard drives with the “Xbox One S”, Microsoft will be releasing 1TB and 500GB units down the road. If you didn’t pre-order or snap one up straight after it was released earlier this month, you’ll now have to wait until the 500GB or 1TB models hit the shops.
