In the footnote of the Windows 10 lifecycle fact sheet, it said, “Updates are cumulative, with each update built upon all of the updates that preceded it. A device needs to install the latest update to remain supported“.

The new feature for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs has actually been a long time coming, as Microsoft first announced their plans to make this particular service available all the way back in January. The voice assistant can be found on the browser’s address tab, and users will be able to command it while they surf the net. For instance, the company recently made last changes about an update that allows users to transfer apps onto their SD cards that was earlier claimed to be included in the initial RTM.
“On July 29th, Cortana will be available in Windows 10 in seven countries, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, France, Italy, Germany, and Spain”, Microsoft’s Marcus Ash said. Users with Windows 7 or Windows 8 can also reserve their copy of the new OS, and they will receive a notification once Windows 10 is ready to be released.
