Microsoft Disables Controversial Wi-Fi Sharing Features In Windows 10

It’s an incredibly useful feature that you probably enabled when you installed Windows 10. As Windows 10 delivers significant new innovations, many older devices are not able to successfully upgrade without an impact on the customer experience.

Microsoft and Adobe have released a series of security patches for Adobe Flash, Internet Explorer and Windows as part of the latest round of Patch Tuesday updates. This will apply even if you have to perform a re-install of Windows on the device due to a disruptive error.

Microsoft is in the middle of a broad effort to convince more developers join the universal app bandwagon and companies like Twitter can serve as an example that Windows 10 is a big opportunity, especially because they can target a growing audience. While upgrades to Apple’s Mac OS have been available at no cost for years, until last year Windows had managed to continually dominate the OS market while charging users a premium for the latest version. And at least initially, Microsoft emphasized how the tools could work with Windows 8 and Windows Phone, in addition to iOS and Android.

A large number of Nokia Lumia users were rather unhappy with this update as the update does come out for some of the most popular Lumia devices such as the Lumia 520, Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1320. Microsoft has also made several new extensions available for download.

Upgrading to Windows 10 is easy if the user meets the system requirements.

This only entitles your current computer hardware to the free upgrade, so if you get a new computer or replace the motherboard in your existing one, the free upgrade will no longer work. With Windows 10 and Wi-Fi Sense, you and your friends can use each other’s Wi-Fi networks without having to give out your Wi-Fi passwords. Microsoft said this feature, which had existed in previous versions of Windows 10 Mobile, was one of the top 10 most requested.
