Microsoft doesn’t seem keen on remastering Halo Reach for Xbox One
In 2010, Bungie was able to finish the last installment of their “Halo” series, which was the “Halo: Reach” intended for Xbox 360. That presumably rules out any possible plans for a Halo: Reach remaster job on Xbox One.

ODST was never meant to be apart of the MCC since it doesn’t star Master Chief at all, but was nonetheless updated and released as an apology for the troublesome launch in November previous year .
Spencer replied to a fan on the social microblogging site, “I’d like to see it [Halo: Reach] come via backwards compatibility”.
A remastered release of Halo Reach doesn’t appear to be on the cards after Xbox boss Phil Spencer suggested on Twitter that backwards compatibility may be the only way to play the Xbox 360 title on Xbox One.
Fans, however, can’t help but ask if it will ever make it to the collection to which Spencer implied that it maybe just included in the backwards compatibility feature.
“I think enough people have asked about it that we are thinking about it”, executive producer Dan Ayoub said in 2014 about bringing Reach and ODST to the Xbox One. If you go to the Xbox BC page on Microsoft’s website Halo Reach is front and centre, indicating that the game will be available on the service.
Backwards Compatibility for Xbox One was announced at E3 earlier this year and will roll out in full this autumn with “over 100 games” available including many exclusives.
“I’ve seen the lineup of games coming to launch and in the months ahead; good list.”

It is also one of the most requested games so it may be a matter of time until an official announcement is made on it.
