Microsoft employees spread some Christmas cheer by caroling – outside an Apple

It seems Microsoft is willing to let go of its long-standing rivalry with Apple this Christmas.

Perhaps not, but whatever the case, this Microsoft holiday ad, in which the tech giant “delivers a special message to some old friends”, aims to deliver feel-good festive cheer in spades.

Microsoft discharged another occasion themed business on Tuesday that shows specialists leaving the organization’s own store in New York City, strolling five squares not far off and caroling before Apple’s leader store.

Along with a group of children’s choir, they sing “Let There be Peace on Earth” right outside the Apple store as the Apple employees start trickling out to enjoy their rendition and towards the end the two group of employees embrace each other as the message “Spread harmony” filling up the ad.

Of course, this is not the first time that we’ve seen Apple and Microsoft come together in the recent past.

According to AdAge, Microsoft still needed to request permission to film outside the 5th Avenue Apple Store, but Apple reportedly did not know what the 60-second ad was going to be about.

And what might sound like an ominous warning in another context actually amounts to the software company workers singing Christmas tunes and holding candles as Apple employees applaud from inside the flagship store, then file out to give hugs.
