Microsoft is now developing the next version of Windows 10, codenamed Redstone which will introduce a whole batch of new features, fixes and other operating system improvements. Microsoft did not list any bugs with the new release.
Previously, users who wanted a firmware update had to shift their phone to the Production ring, then shift their phone back to their desired Windows 10 Insider ring. However, they can use the Windows Insider App and temporarily switch their device from fast ring to the Slow or Release Preview ring and this will allow them to install the update and switch back after. Users will be able to make cellular calls and send SMS messages from their desktop PC, making people more productive by eliminating the need to pick up a smartphone every few minutes.
There will also be a bigger focus on universal AAA video game titles between Xbox and PC, which is something we have already started seeing as of recently.

Surface Pro 4 (like Surface Book) comes with a Windows Hello-compatible camera for facial recognition, but I happen to prefer fingerprint reader sign-in. The company looks set to continue and expand this program of bringing PC and console gamers together with the launch of the Redstone Windows 10 update. Updates to the Start Menu and Settings app are in the works, as well as an improved Action/Notification Center that will give users much more control over their notifications. According to WinBeta, “Redstone” has been split in half with one release planned for June and the other in spring 2017. Microsoft’s BUILD developer conference later this month will likely be used to demonstrate several of the new Redstone features for the first time. Right now we have not communicated what 8.1 devices will get updated and when but please have the latest FW on all your 8.1 in preparation of win 10.
