Microsoft launches its own app store on Google Play Store
While originally the anger was aimed at a handful of developers, it’s now become clear that the problem is affecting all Store apps including ones on the desktop version of Windows 10. With Windows 10, Microsoft sees the OS as more of a service and the idea is to ensure that its apps are used across platforms, which explains why they’ve clubbed together all their Android apps into this form. The app can be free, making it more appealing, and additional features can then be bought.
